What Should I Wear?
Casual clothes are the norm at The Rivers. Wear whatever is comfortable for you; jeans, shorts, dresses, etc. Church should be the most authentic place in your life, so come as you are and make yourself at home.
Will I Be Singled Out?
You’ll never be put on the spot – we want you to feel at home. You won’t be asked to stand while we remain seated. You won’t be asked to remain seated while we stand. You won’t be asked to put on a pin or special visitor tag. We simply want you to be our guest.
If you want us to contact you, we have a communication card for you to fill out with your contact information. You’re welcome to visit us for as long as you want and never turn in anything. However, if you are interested, our pastor would love to send you a note of thanks for visiting us.
What Is There For My Kids?
We love kids, and we love providing creative and fun environments where they can come and learn about who Jesus is. The Rivers Kids’ Ministry has lots of fun, crafts, worship, and Bible teaching, all in a safe and clean environment. We have classes for K-6th grade, 2-5yrs, and 0-2yrs.
If you’re dropping your children off before the service, give yourself a few extra minutes to get them checked in properly at the children’s check-in station. After you check-in your kids, one of the members of our Kids Team will help you and your children get to the right room. We take your kids safety very seriously by doing full background checks on every single person serving in The Rivers Kids’ Ministry.
What About My Jr. High or High Schooler?
Our Jr. High & High Schoolers (7th-12th grade) participate in our Sunday worship celebration and gather during the week in a small group where they have the opportunity to interact with other high schoolers and grow in their passion for Jesus.
What Is The Music Like?
Dynamic, heart-pumping, and awe-inspiring worship music fills the auditorium for the first part of service. Our worship team is comprised of talented musicians and singers with a heart for God, music, and the church family.
Are The Messages Boring?
Absolutely not. One of our pastors shares an inspiring message from the Bible every week, leaving church members wanting more, asking questions, and better understanding who they are in God and who God is. With different sermon series throughout the year, you may be surprised at how God will speak to you each week. After the message, you’ll have the opportunity to respond to God through worship, communion, or personal prayer ministry. You can always listen to a past message by visiting our Sermons page.
